Hi! My name is Hamim Choudhury and I'm currently a rising Junior at The City College of New York pursuing a major in Computer Science with an interest in Cybersecurity and Computer Engineering.
I am an aspiring Full Stack Software Engineer who has a knack for learning something new. I am passionate about leveraging technology
to solve real-world problems, big or small, and driving innovation. I love meeting new people and helping others. I am always looking for opportunities to
showcase my skillset and continue building upon my skills.
I have a passion for cyber security as I am learning more about network practices and policies. I have been taking cyber security courses
through Coursera, Codepath, and Google.
My hobbies include playing basketball, playing video games, listening to music, and travelling. I do stay upto date with what's going on
in both the tech and sports field, as they are topics I am really passionate about.
I enjoy working on tasks that let me think outside the box. There is never one solution to a certain problem. Being able to have a different mindset goes a long way.
I like to get my hands dirty. Whether that be working on a personal project or a task at my internship. There's always room for me to grow both as a person and technical skill wise.
I love being challenged. Nothing in life comes easy so being able to face a challenge helps me to develop the right mind and skillset for future projects, problems, and jobs.
I am currently interning at NYC DORIS as a Software Engineer Intern. My current project consists of updating their website, both frontend and backend. Up next will be app development.
This was my Summeer 2023 Internship at NYC DDC as both an IT Intern and SWE Intern. I worked on the IT side at first. On the SWE side, I helped develop a Hash File that made certain processes become much faster.
This was my full time job from 2021 to 2023. I developed a multi-tiered Discord Bot that embedded messages to global Discord servers, providing real-time information about sneaker release details, locations, and time of release.
This is a project that I am currently working on. As a student at a CUNY University, specifically CCNY, there is a lack of resources at times. It can be a hassle having to find the perfect YouTube video before a test that best suits your needs. On top of that, who wants to pay for Quizlet? The purpose of this is to have a database of worksheets, YouTube videos, and practice exams for almost every major at CCNY.
Blizzard Notify was a company that I created in 2021 for sneaker reselling. It started off as a side hussle but soon evolved as I surpassed 2,000 members worldwide and growing. With the work I was doing in Trademark Services, I added the bots to my server and included new features such as Hold or Sell and Drop Recaps. I created a fully functioning website with Stripe and PayPal Integration as well.
This website I created was clone for a graphic design company. The purpose of this was to simply test my skills for the different languages that I have learned. The website is located on my GitHub and it is fully responsive. There was a PayPal integration on this site as well as a Email form for any requests for certain tasks and inquiries.
